Step 1
Get a water sample from the sample point from the facility you want to test (Main Pool, Spa & Hydropool)

Take a 10ml Palintest test tube from the Pool testing kit
Step 3
Add 10ml of the water from the facility you are testing making sure the test tube has thoroughly been rinsed from previous tests.
Step 4
Turn on the Pool testing kit.
Step 5
Place the 10ml test tube into the slot provided and scroll up or down so the ‘Total Alkalinity’ option is highlighted.
Step 6
Press the ‘ok’ button on the testing kit and it will ask you for a ‘blank’ reading.
Step 7
To blank press ‘ok’ and then the unit will ask you to insert your sample.
Step 8
To create your sample, you must take an ‘Alkaphot’ tablet and crush it up in the 10ml test tube making sure that the tablet has dissolved.
Step 9
Place your sample into the testing kit and press ‘ok’.
Step 10
Once you have pressed ‘ok’ the pool testing kit will give you a reading.
